Tyler Hoechlin Wants Supergirl Crossover

It’s nice that Tyler remembers that Supergirl and all it’s characters still exist, I sure wish the S&L showrunners did. I don’t blame Tyler for what I’ve read is happening on his show. At this point I wouldn’t trust them not mess with one of our beloved characters. From what I’ve read they can’t do a simple picture of Kara without cutting it. Short of Kara being shown as superior to her cousin in some way I don’t want S&L to be given a chance to disparage Supergirl further.

Honestly since next season will probably be the last for Flash if anyone from Supergirl is going to do a guest appearance it should be there. The showrunners on that show have a better track record. The three characters from Supergirl with the strongest ties to Flash are Kara, Alex, and J’onn. They should offer Melissa, Chyler, or David a directing spot to sweeten the deal. Melissa can wear a wig. Batwoman got a good wig for Poison Mary and IMO the Frost wig isn’t bad so much better wigs than we saw Melissa in on Supergirl do exist even on a CW budget.

I watched tomight's Superman & Lois and Lucy was nothing like the version from Supergirl.They weren't kidding about her being a completely different character.I would not want to see that done to a main Supergirl character.This bothers me way more then recasting Morgan Edge and Sam Lane did.What's the point of bringing back the same actor if you are going to reboot the character still?

I still would love to see Kara appear on Superman & Lois because she and Clark are family but if I had to choose between Superman & Lois or The Flash,I would lean to The Flash only because I love the chemistry between Melissa & Grant and the dynamic between Supergirl and The Flash.Especially also if The Flash ends next season.Superman & Lois is still in the beginning of its run.The Flash is nearing its end.So IMO less time for a Supergirl & Flash team up.

My perfect scenario is if there is another big crossover event between the shows,then hopfully Melissa is involved.That way she could potentially interact with anyone in the crossover.

Also,love the idea of Melissa directing again.

I've never been a fan of these crossovers but I wouldn't mind seeing Melissa and only Melissa on the S&L show. I doubt if she's interested but one never knows. But be warned that sometimes the squeeze is better then the juice.

Very nice words from Tyler. I'd only want to see Kara/Supergirl appear on Superman and Lois in the future, something I think they may do in about Season 4 or 5. Nice if it was Melissa, nicer if it was Izabela, maybe even Sasha, my preference now though would be for somebody new to portray Supergirl especially if she was in say half the seasons episodes (similar to the amount Laura Vandervoort played Kara on Smallville Season 7).

I tend to agree. It's time for another iteration of the character to be used.

Melissa has done her bit for the franchise and the S & L show is on a completely different trajectory, removed from the most recent TV version of Supergirl. It is following its own path.
