Listen up collectors, looks like "The Toyman" has been busy again. This time he's going a little...or a lot high end...as in 1/8th scale or about 12 inches tall.

The Hong Kong-based company Star Ace Toys is putting out TWO of the super powered characters from Supergirl...namely SG herself, and the Martian Manhunter. Now a lot of people are complaining that these two should be given the Hot Toys 1/6 scale or 17 inches tall treatment. But I am not complaining myself.

From their Facebook page, here are the preview images of each figure. Now these are COMING SOON. So who knows when that will be or if are any other images are coming down the road.

To give you an idea of what you might pay, Amazon has the Star Ace Flash figure, complete with accessories, for about $114.00 at Pre-Order. But, the figure will come out in late September. For the record, Hot Toys which offers the 1/6 scale, would be about double the amount.

This could mean Supergirl and Martian Manhunter might come some time next year.

So, if you want to, and I think I might bite for both, start saving some money, like now.

Wow I just checked Star Ace Toys's website on their 1/8th scale figures, I'm very impressed with the harry potter figures, whoever sculpted the faces of actors exactly down to the accurate details deserves high 5, I can't wait to see how it will turns out for martian man hunter and Supergirl :) I would love to get my hands one of these figures like that :)

Want Want Want! I said last year I would jump on it if Hot Toys announced Supergirl figures and this is almost as good. Will be ordering for sure, cant wait to see the full images. I expect the full figures will be announced at SDCC next month. thanks for posting :)

Well it looks like we have some sneak peeks of the Last Son of Mars figure from Star Ace Toys. He comes with

Two interchangeable heads...one calm, one fierce, fire effects and his battle suit, blue cape and boots.

He has 26 points of articulation and a stand

Star Ace says look for this to be released in the fourth quarter of the year.

However, the pictures are of a prototype and this is subject to change. Will let you know about Supergirl if any preview pics come of her.
