Out of all the people on the side of good in DC comics (or DC anything), who's the most powerful?
The most powerful person is the one who leads by example and does not expect anything in return.
In DC lore it could well be Superman, but one must also consider who shaped him and this would be Jonathan and Martha Kent (with an assist from Jor-EL and Lara). Remember, the most powerful person or people isn't/aren't necessarily the one(s) with superpowers, but the one(s) whose influence is most greatly felt.

This has been debated over the past decades of DC. For me it is a much easier answer in the Marvel comicdom, in that comicdom it is Sue Storm of the Fantastic Four.
HOWEVER, in DC comicdom.......wow, I would have to say the one person that has been on average the most powerful is Superman. However, you have characters like Reign and Batman saying that it is Supergirl. So, I guess I would have to go with one of them.
