By the way, there's a local ice cream shop here in Boynton Beach (Florida) that makes their own variations on the usual flavors. I based my fictional "Stan's Ice Cream Parlor" on it. The almond pistachio ice cream (with a touch of cinnamon in it) is my favorite - so I figured Kara would like it , too!
And yes, I suppose my stories do reflect the Silver Age comics I grew up reading, but I've had to update some things, too. Like now, I need to have Kara carrying her cell phone around in her uniform, so people can get in touch with her whenever it's necessary!
