Actually, I agree with Romulus. (And Brian Truitt, writing in USA Today, said much the same thing.) I didn't want to give away any spoilers, but yes, I too was disappointed in the ending of the movie. It really felt like a letdown to me, which is why I gave it a B+ grade. An ending that I considered to be good would have given it an automatic A grade from me! For the record, I enjoyed the first 3/4 or so of "The Flash" very much - though I wish we had seen more of both Michael Keaton and Sasha Calle. As for the last part and the ending - not so much....

By the way, I noticed that the audience poll at Rotten Tomatoes is down to an 85% now, which of course is a B (which agrees with the CinemaScore audience poll).

I saw the new "The Flash " movie today, on opening day, and really enjoyed it. (I had a reserved seat.) I agree with the audience poll at Rotten Tomatoes, 87% (B+). A couple of totally unexpected cameos and Easter Eggs (no spoilers here!) I also agree with Brian Truitt, USA Today's critic - Michael Keaton's still the best Batman. And I was totally impressed by Sasha Calle in the multifaceted role of Supergirl. She really pulled off a complex character arc! She's perfect for the role (just like Melissa Benoist). Now Supergirl's "Hope, Help & Compassion for All" ethos does come through here. But it's mostly the fierce Supergirl of the Red Tornado TV episode, In other words, "Kara Gets Her Hulk On". When she has that look in her eyes, you'd better get out of her way - and fast! (Please remind me me not to get any Kryptonians P-O'd at me ?
