The Flash/Legends of Tomorrow/Arrow E6 Discussion

I thought The Flash was pretty hilarious. The tone feels like an utter throwback to season 1, although sadly kinda sudden and unjustified but welcome nonetheless.

Ralph is a gem, he’s like Mon-El at his best. Funny thing is, his is also a redemption story from someone not so great to a hero. I wonder what happens if they pair him up with a female interest. Will fans also say he is “abusing her” (yes I am glaring at you, Supercorpers).

I hope he has a point though in the main story.

Devoe looks interesting enough, but still nothing so far tells why he is a threat. Hopefully he’s not useless like Cadmus.

Thought Ralph was shown as they are obviously setting him up for a redemption arc from being a jerk to being caring about others. Also he has interesting powers.

Legends was interesting, we now have two recurring powerful female antagonists on the show, Darkh's daughter and Kuasa.(Who both have been shown to be able to single handedly be able to defeat the team)

One scene saddened me , made me angry, and completely ruined the Flash for me last night. I almost didn't believe what I heard the first time but I played it back several times because I didn't want to believe it. After Caitlin gives a very smart guess at an explanation of how the meta is able to use inanimate objects to kill people Ralph says "That's really smart 34 25 34" Caitlin says "did he just give my." before Barry interrupts her and says "no just ignore him" Barry mouths to ralph to stop it. I wish I could find the scene to post.

It was clear that Ralph used Caitlin's measurements instead of her name. I know this was filmed several weeks ago but it's in particularly bad taste considering recent events. I think some emergency editing should have been done or better yet this never should have been written. it's not necessary to actually show Ralph making inappropriate comments about a coworker to make the audience aware that he's is a jerk, we got that already. It make matters worse Barry didn't call Ralph out on what he said just told him to stop it under his breath. Did anybody else catch this?

I saw it, didn't really stand out. Ralph is a generally faulty person. The scene implies everyone is just fed up with his various traits.

I've an annoying friend in real life who consistently blurts out horrendous things. Once he said poor people don't deserve to have rights. At that point I was done, everyone else was done, I told my other friend just ignore him.

I don't think that made me a misanthrope anymore than Barry became a sexist or anything.

So reviews:

Legends: Zari is quickly figuring out her place on the team! Also the firestorm switcheroo was pretty funny. Darkh is getting on my nerves a bit, but glad Sara beat him with no magic!

Flash: Ralph seems like an asshole but hopefully he will get better. The thinker is a very promising villain, completely different to any we got so far. I feel like we only have the barest hints of his motives though.

ARROW:

SLADE SLADE SLADE SLADE. Seriously, one of the best episodes in a while. And Slade really sold it. He was the season villain for season 2, yet I could completely understand his motives and was actually pulling for him here. THIS is how you make a villain likable and badass.

Seriously. Slade is awesome.
