By the way, I actually mentioned Tesla by name in one of my earlier stories. I don't know if you'll remember the plot. I had the drug cartel pay Spencer Data Systems to build a giant Tesla coil that produced artificial lightning bolts - under the pretext that it was for a science museum. Actually, they planned to use it against Supergirl. (They had seen the Livewire vs. Supergirl battles on TV, and knew that Kara was vulnerable to high-voltage electric discharges.) The cartel kidnapped James, and used him to draw out Supergirl. But when Dick realized that he had helped to build the Tesla coil, he felt terrible about it, and knew he had to set things right. So Dick and Winn joined together and built a special protective suit for Kara that effectively conducted the electricity away from her body (a Faraday cage, for all you fellow physics people out there And in the end, Kara was able to rescue James and the bad guys were taken into custody by the NCPD (with the assistance of Alex).
