Here's my new Supergirl fan fiction story (#59), "Team Super Confronts the Sonic Blaster Gang". This story also came about in response to a suggestion from a reader .And it's also a bit longer than most of them have been. Hope you like it!

Thanks, Argo! Yes, I really tried to get all the members of the Supergirl Team involved in this one (with Kara and Maggie in the lead roles, of course). And I managed to work Kor-El and the New Argo City storyline into the plot, too!

Stewart...YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN! Clearly your best work. You write better than the real writers on the show. And yes I have heard of L-RAD devices. They have been used by military working with the police (a violation of something called Posse Comitatus [look that up!]) to deal with protesters at events.

For every move there's a counter move especially with the Thermite devices used to put that thing out of commission.

Thanks, Robert! I'm really flattered :)
Yes, I'm trying to keep the emphasis on action in my stories, not romance or other subplots. I want to keep the Supergirl Team working together to solve problems and overcome obstacles. And now Kor-El is almost a part of the Team, too - even if he does happen to be in another solar system!

One thing I love about writing Supergirl stories is that it's a great opportunity to present science people in fiction in a positive light (instead of the old Hollywood "mad scientist" or "nerd/geek" stereotypes)! And writing her dialog is easy, because it's just the way that I've heard some of my best/favorite students speak over the years - both to me and to their peers :)

Love this photo!
It could very well be Kara and Dick Malverne, back in Midvale High School :D
