I just posted my new Supergirl fan fiction story (#51) written especially for the upcoming American holiday weekend, "A National City Independence Day". Hope you like it!

Oh, and here's a photo of the pyrotechnic "falling snowflakes" effect I was talking about in the story. Yes, it really is small flakes of titanium metal burning as they fall!

Really enjoyed the story, Stewart. Learned about the titanium snow flakes. A different approach to your plots and a good one!

Glad you enjoyed it - and learned a little more about fireworks in the process!
Actually, quite a few new "Space Age" materials have been added to the list of pyrotechnic effects in the past few decades :D

"the flyover by the Air Force pilots.", would've been cool if you added a little scene of Supergirl flying alongside them.

Great idea - I didn't think of that! :)
