Tell us about yourself: Admin Edition?

I too would like to mention that this site is awesome! To tell a little about myself and why I like SuperGirl, well......I am female and a Biologist (scientist) by degree. I've worked for a major pharmaceutical company for 35 years and I love science, life and the beauty that lies within all individuals. One thing I am not tolerant of is bullying of any kind. Which is why I like this site because when people do follow the rules, arguments resulting from bullying are prevented and should not occur. I think all opinions are important whether you agree with them or not and all people should be respected on the site. I love SuperGirl because little girls and boys have a female hero they can look up to. Little girls especially do not have as many heroes as little boys do. SuperGirl shows us that everyone is worthy of being loved and that everyone matters and counts in this world. SuperGirl also shows us that standing up for what is right is not always easy, but it has to be done but the supporting characters in SuperGirl teach us that you have to pick your battles and not just jump before you look. I think Melissa Bonoist and Chyler Leigh are the best and I love the way they portray their characters. The beauty of the show is that it gives us hope that one day there will be a world were everyone gets along and loves each other not based on race or gender but because of who they are inside.

I wouldn't say you "owe" us anything! I've been here since near the beginning, and you folks have brought us a brilliant site and a wonderful community, all without so much as a banner ad. You've done your best to steer the site through some tumultuous waters at times and always done what you've felt was the best for the community and the fandom. So, if anything, it is us who owe you... gratitude, respect, and (looks around sheepishly) maybe some cash in the tip jar!
