So awful, I don't even think CATCO has a sports department. BUT...hear me out...given there is a San Diego suburb called National City and it is in Southern California...last night in baseball was something the citizens of Nat City could hang a star on...a pitcher for the Padres threw the first no-hitter in the team's 52-year history...making them the last MLB team to be without a "no-no."

To bad it wasn't a Perfect Game. 27 up and 27 down. But a no-no is a yes-yes for any pitcher. I haven't gotten into the baseball season as of yet but I suspect that the Padres stink.;)

Well, maybe on the TV show. But in my fan-fiction world, National City has a decent basketball team that played against the Denver Nuggets in one of my stories. And they also have a top-rated women's soccer (football) team for which Kara's friend Alison Pearson plays center forward!
