Hey everyone! hope you're having a nice weekend :D
last night I found a very awesome deleted scene from fist season episode 17:)
I had seen other deleted scenes before but they were all very short and very unimportant but this one is like a piece of GOLD!:D it shows Kara and Alex relationship before she came out as Supergirl.

I kind of enjoyed this one minute and half as much as I enjoy a whole hour of each episode.

so enjoy ;)

That was what was most beautiful on the show, the relationship of the two sisters. That was what attracted me most. But the CW destroyed that. Ridiculous.

well I do wish there were more Danvers sisters scene but I guess each season some things change and of course there are new characters that need screen time. and to be fair there has been some sister times this season maybe just not as long as we wish them to be. I just hope the writers never forget this important relationship.
since I also watch Supernatural there is a very interesting correlation between these two series :)
the heart of the both series is the strong sibling relationship and if Kara and Alex are super-sisters, Sam and Dean are super-brothers:D but sorry my fellow SPN family out there if I say this, but Danvers sisters rule! Sam and Dean sometimes lie too much to each other...:(

I don't know that it was better than anything else, but I did enjoy seeing it on the DVD....it would have been nice to have seen more of that in the episode.....but I really enjoyed the scene with Kara and Cat as Kara on Kara's interview. I went back and rewatched it after we found out that Cat hired Kara on the spot and actually saw a lot of herself in her....made that scene even more cool. :D

Like all good fragments, that scene left me wanting more and brought up questions.

Why was Alex on probation?

At some point later, Alex gave Kara her apartment. But why, when she took another in the same city?

Was Kara naive, clueless, or just polite by not noticing Alex's hangover and the apartment's debris?

Didn't J'onn "save" Alex after this, when she had finished her MD and PH.D.? Or was that before this scene?

Where was this scene intended in the episode?

Questions, questions...

One assumes it was deleted for a reason. If we go with the reason was for time then here's my best guess at answers.
Like all good fragments, that scene left me wanting more and brought up questions.

Why was Alex on probation?
She was partying too hard as evidenced by the scene that was shown where J'onn bailed her out of jail.

At some point later, Alex gave Kara her apartment. But why, when she took another in the same city?
Alex planned to do her medical residency in another city so she promised Kara the apartment. Alex wouldn't break a promise like that to Kara.

Was Kara naive, clueless, or just polite by not noticing Alex's hangover and the apartment's debris?
All of the above.

Didn't J'onn "save" Alex after this, when she had finished her MD and PH.D.? Or was that before this scene?
I don't think Alex ever finished her MD and PHD because in S2E2 she told Kara she gave up her medical career. I think she started at the DEO right after meeting J'onn.

Where was this scene intended in the episode?
I think it was supposed to be just before the scene where J'onn "saved" Alex. The letter in this scene pushed Alex "over the edge" and she wound up in jail.

Questions, questions...

The letter is addressed to Alex on Argo Street. But I thought the apartment was on Hope Street.

In the "Adventures of Supergirl" comic-book series (written by Sterling Gates). Alex describes herself as a "biomedical engineer" at the time she joined the DEO. Perhaps she decided to get a degree in that field, rather than continuing her work toward an MD and PhD.
