We do know what happened to the necklace that Kara gave Mon-El, it was shown is season three that he still wore it. The question for me is did Melissa and Chris get to take it as a keepsake.

Yes, Monte was wearing it in season 3 but I want to know what role that necklace played in getting Monte to the 31st century. Did the necklace open the wormhole? Remember Kara said that it would keep him safe. I need to know more about the necklace.
Melissa said that she took little animal nik naks and hinted that she got the suit. I think Chris took the necklace because it keeps him safe.

Great article, thanks for posting. Personally I don’t like to think about so successors or replacement to me that does disservice to both. The newer can unfairly be compared to the older and the older is tossed aside for the shiny and new. Let all be judged on their own merits without comparison.

Thanks for sending this article our way. I'm of the opinion that without Melissa this show fails. In her large presence, others shrink to midgets for the microscope. It's a real shame that the writers didn't display more of this multi talented actress in their stories. The show could have been so much more enjoyable. With the finale on our doorstep, I still want to know what happened to the necklace that Kara gave to Monte. For me to move on this loose end must be tied.

Really great article.The hero most close to Supergirl right now in the Arrowverse is IMO Stargirl.Courteny Whitmore feels the most like the successor to Kara I think.Ironically next weeks season finale for Stargirl feels like the big test for Stargirl in her showdown with Eclipso given how tonight's episode ended and the promo for nest week.
