These are shipping to comic book stores next week, the owner of my local comic book stores tells me. Have a SG and a MM figure on hold for myself.

Got mine, and it's beautiful. Better than the "Multiverse" version, by far.

Your right it would have been better to have her smile. I’m just glad there is a good figure available. It was supposed to have come with an optional head for flight possess, as seen in an early promotion, I wander what happened to that, since the obviously have the mold.

The comparisons are night and day. DC wins hands down for me. Now to wait for Big Bad Toy Store to get it in and then I get it. The DC face though is kind of sad, appropos given the sadness on Kara's face in the last flight scene. Of course Supergirl is supposed to be smiling and be happy. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers.

Awesome it looks, indeed! Although this picture from the top of the article made me think of Christopher Reeve and George Reeves at the same time. Yes, it's the action figure in front of "Old Glory" And with Memorial Day coming up, it's time for our comic heroes to honor the REAL heroes, our soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice.

That little bit said, if Big Bad Toy Store has this beauty available, I might plop down the $30 for it.

I bought my DC Collectables Supergirl figure on Wedneday. I've had the Mattel Multiverse figure for almost a year. The new DC figure is way better than the older Mattel one. Not just the face that every review references, but also the body proportions are more humanly realistic. For its size the Mattel versions legs are to long, the torso to short, and the waste to small. I've attached a picture I took of the two of them together. For the purpose of seeing the scaling differences between the two figures I have photoshoped the image to make both figures look equal in height.
