Long-time readers will recall a calculation, back at the year 1 end, of Supergirl's power output while throwing Fort Rozz into space. It depends how fast it was going at the end, of course. We now know the Fort traveled a considerable number of light years in a year's time, to end up in orbit around that blue star. Supergirl got the Fort, not up to 70 miles per second, but up to ca. 40 times the speed of light. There is an interesting question as to how it managed to stop at the far end. Perhaps its engines were still working.

In any event, the power requirement was formidable relative to the past calculation.

perhaps it went through another wormhole after it left the Earth's atmosphere. Anyway, trying to apply real life science to scifi fantasy science is a lost cause. But I love that you worked all that out. lol.

Everyone serms to have forgotten that Non and Indigo had prepped Fort Roz for an interstellar "jump" before Kara pushed it into orbit.

They were planning on leaving a dead Earth behind after Myriad killed the human race.

I figure the prison/station/ship just automatically went FTL after Kara got it out of the atmosphere. So all the calculations aren't relevant.

exactly, and as it happens much to kryptonian ships, fort rozz got knocked off course and ended in a place where ALL the kryptonians (since they were all guys) died.

That's an excellent point. Krypton really needed better quality control on their interstellar ships. Although, to be fair, Kara's pod did get caught in a planetary explosion and Fort Roz went 20+ years in the Phantom Zone with no maintenance and then crashed on Earth.

I assume that voided their warranties.
