Let's face it, the changes are not everyone's cup of tea. There are things I like and don't like about the current season. Some points the author makes are valid; others I cannot agree with. Let me note that there are some great additions to the new season: the Luthors and Mon-El among others. What I like about Monel-El is the chemistry the two actors have on screen. The love story, well I want our girl to be happy. But I think if it remained a friendship with the banter might be better.

What I don't like is the loss of sisters night and the seemingly tight relationship between Alex and Kara. That is bothersome. My general view is that the producers had too much material to draw upon and perhaps a shortn d prep time to launch the season. I do think 2.2 (January onwards) is better scripted and higher quality.

I do not like every episode and I think as a fan this is OK. However, there is room for improvement. Part of it is to focus more on a consistent arc and return some of the winning elements from Season 1.
