Even though there are still 5 more episodes of SG to be shown on TV has production on S2 finished? Haven't seen any notice of wrapping this season up. If it is still filming I hope it all goes brilliantly and not be hurt if the WGA strike happens. Hope when S3 starts production it won't be hurt either.

They will probably be finishing up in the next few weeks....and the scripts for the season have already been written. A writer's strike won't change anything for this season.

The arcs and ideas for Season 3 are probably already moving along since they got such an early renewal...again, everyone involved is probably hoping to have a compromise by Upfronts.

Other than that, why be worried about something that we have absolutely no control over? What the writer's are asking for can have a compromise and hopefully quickly, but nothing to worry about if we have no hand in it.

Last summer, this site posted a season 2 filming schedule, indicating that season 2 filming was scheduled to wrap on April 26, 2017. Even if that date has changed, any strike shouldn't have any effect on this season. Next season, possibly, but at this point, I think it's too early to worry about it.
