Reports flying about repeat for BW and SG on sunday. But they were supposed to air on new episodes on sunday 29th. So there is some confusion going around ?

I have reached out to PR on your behalf to try and get solid answers. I haven't heard back yet. I have heard that the office that cuts and creates the previews for future episodes was closed and could be why we didn't see any preview. It could also be to slow the release of new content. When Flash and Legends were postponed, I was notified with a press release. At this stage, with the more strict restrictions in California, we may have to wait in the dark a bit before we know for certain. As always I will update you all as soon as I know more.

Thanks lets hope you hear something soon. The CW website say its a repeat on sunday with both Batwoman and Supergirl. We should definitely know about if its new or repeat. I really hope they are repeats because so many think its a repeat and there is so much uncertainty and now with CW website showing repeat makes it even more confusing for people.
There’s a simple way to avoid confusion and the possibility of missing an episode. The one thing we do know is the day of the week and time a new episode will air. Simply tune in every week as usual, if it’s a new episode great if it’s a rerun watch it again if you’re so inclined. TV shows in general are very much in flux right now. I’m confident the Admins will update us when possible.

If we go by that code and so many people are uncertain then the ratings would be a disaster. This is why it needs to be a repeat because there is so much confusion for the casual viewers and even fans of the shows too
First Supergirl has already been renewed, why are you worried about ratings? Second I’m sure that even for shows on other networks that haven’t been renewed yet the networks are taking the present circumstances into consideration. Third even if you’re concerned about ratings, which you shouldn’t be, watching reruns does boost a shows profile. As more things shut down we may not get entertainment news quickly. I stand by my easy solution of tuning in on the usual day and time.

I know this is frustrating for us, you guys. I feel we should acknowledge that this is just as frustrating for the crews, cast, post production crew, and networks. All of this uncertainty is costing them money. Everything is very uncertain for the networks, as well. They probably haven't shared news because, right now, there isn't anything to share. They WANT to air new episodes. But if they aren't updating us, that probably means they aren't getting solid updates from the studios.

Not to make it all about me, but I'm unemployed during a global pandemic with many of my closest friends and family in various high risk groups. The uncertainty around when new episodes will air is kinda low on my list of frustrations! :D

Point being, things are really tough out there. I haven't seen a situation like this in my lifetime, and my 80+ year old dad tells me he hasn't either. We all have to exercise some patience. Things we used to take for granted might take longer than usual.

As Billie Holiday sang it, "The difficult I'll do right now/The impossible will take a little while." ;)

If the post production offices are closed due to the pandemic, then it likely won't be for a while. They may have most of the season filmed, but if they cant edit, they cant finalize the episodes.

This seems to be what is happening with Supernatural, at least.
