This sounds familiar - in Smallville, Doomsday adopted the human guise Davis Bloom. I think Reign is Supergirl's own Doomsday!!

Supergirl star Odette Annable previews big bad Reign, from ew.com.I think she would have made a great Alex happy with the one we have of course.
Interesting that Odette auditioned for the role of Alex.

Just an FYI that Reign's name has been changed to Samantha Arias. Not sure but thought I had read that this was done so as not to be confused with Psi (who's alias is Gayle Marsh). I think Odette would have been a good fit for Alex as well but am looking forward to seeing her in this role for Season 3.
