Purity and Pestilence - World Killers

What makes people think that the fleet that left Krypton (it cannot be considered individual ships at this point. heh) all left at the same time and hence, the denizens will all have the same age?

I assumed that they were all genetically engineered, most likely around the same time as a result of what was going on with Krypton at that time. But, I don't think that we have any actual confirmation that that was the case.

I'm curious as to why they all were sent to Earth for the same purpose, to cleanse it from evil. Why such hatred for Earth? It would make more sense that they were dispersed to various planets and all end up on Earth because they're called to it, either by the Kryptonian woman at the Fortress or by Reign herself.

I was reading something from somewhere that these World Killers are most likely friends of Sam's. I believe that Purity's description was a guitar player who was a college friend of Sam's. So, if the friend thing is true what about this plot twist ----- Lena, a good friend of Sam's from way back, ends up being Power since she dabbles in technology and holds a great deal of power as a CEO. (Really, I'm just kidding so, don't tar and feather me ) But, that twist would be a huge game changer!

That would be a fun twist. However, if that happens, come fourth season, we will be back with a no girlfriend Kara.

And.. I second Sully's question to Brierrose. Do we know what Purity is supposed to do? Why do you think she is Perrilus?

I think on this show Purity will be like Perrilus because it looks like Lena is poisoned in the next episode. I really don’t think Lena is a Worldkiller. We know she is the biological daughter of Lionel Luthor because she was able to open Lex’s vault in S2E12. I don’t think her mother was a Worldkiller either. The reason people think that all the Worldkillers are the same age or younger than Reign is because she’s the leader and the one who seems to have started the activation. Also if one was say like Kara’s age when she left then her memory would’ve had to have been wiped out and a teenager with no memories would’ve drawn attention.

May be like Sam, they will try to seek out the Sanctuary to find answers (Sam didn't do that; she created it, but may be the others will try to find them). I am still hoping for Alura to have had something to do with their creation although since Zor EL is the science person and Alura the justice person, am not sure how that is possible.

I found this interesting article about the Worldkillers. In the comics each Worldkiller besides being superstrong has unique abilities. I disagree with the article and think Purity matches up with Perrilus not Deimax.

2)Perrilus generates poisons and viruses, and her specialty is population extinction. Matches up with Purity
3)Deimax’s specialty is mass terrain destruction. Matches up with Pestilence
4)Flower of Heaven can create and manipulate energy, and her specialty is overloading the planetary systems. Matches up with Power.

Interesting article with lots of background on the World Killers in the comics. Since they have changed the way in which the World Killers were created and their names, it makes me wonder if they will stick with any of the powers that the original WK were given.

But, if they do, I can see that Perrilus and pestilence would be similar - pestilence has to do with disease.

Purity is sometimes associated with flowers but, of course energy is also power- so that could go either way.

Mass terrain destruction -I could see it matching up with Power as it is forces of the earth that cause earthquakes and volcanoes.

So that matches up with 2 characters we have yet to see who have not yet been cast. I wonder who they will turn out to be. I have a feeling that like Purity they will all have been living normal lives. However, I think that Sam/Reign may be the only one that is able to switch after awakening because of Ruby.
