If "Marsden" was not born on Earth, she is not a native-born American and legally cannot be President, any more than Kara can when she gets a bit older. However, Congress is the sole judge of qualifications, they did accept her by accepting the vote of the Electoral College (if you were paying close attention you almost saw this debated this year), so she can claim to be the President, even though her election was invalid. This is what is called a "Constitutional Crisis".

With respect to "politics", well, Marsden had to be the candidate of some party, and "Libertarian" and "Green" seem unlikely to have been the right answer.

With respect to party, she could have answered "I'm actually a Federalist, but that confuses people, so I ran with the party that asked me first."

Presidents do not have to document themselves. Americans are not required to have a social security number. Zendar has the brilliant solution as to how she could be eligible.

Brilliant point, Zendar! Absolutely brilliant! If she was here in 1789, she is eligible.

And she has the nice letter from George Washington, and the datable painting of the two of them, thanking her for her unique contributions to the Revolutionary Army.

One other thought.... How did she get through the whole intense vetting thang? Leads me to wonder... Is she really a white Martian posing as a different species posing as the president? Or... Is it a different shape shifting alien who killed the original President? Hmmm.

Welllll.... If we're gonna "go there," and get constitutional.... she actually would be removed as president, based on false documentation... False social security, birth date, birth location, race, ethnicity, SPECIES etc etc etc. :p :p :D

We don't know how old she is or how long she has been living on Earth.
Regardless of where you were actually born, if you were living in the United States when the Constitution went into effect in 1789, you are considered a native-born citizen of the United States for purposes of being elected to the presidency. (US Constitution, article two, section 1, clause 5)
If she has been here since before 1789, she very well may be eligible to be president.
