So, I couldn't find a thread that quite fit this topic, because it will encompass multiple episodes. But I really feel that, after the "Midvale" episode, we have a few weeks of solid events.

I feel like the season has had a slow start, but then rapid-fires the big events. "Wake Up" is rumored (or maybe confirmed?) to be the return of Mon-El, and the synopsis has Kara and the DEO investigating the underground/underwater ship.

The week after that is the crossover. It will likely have minimal impact on the overarching season plots, but will be amazing, none-the-less.

Then we have "Reign". Presumably the mid-season finale. And judging from the title, as well as some set photos, the first real throwdown between Supergirl and Reign. I'm absurdly excited for this episode.

Then, episode 10 is "The Legion of Superheroes". This is probably the first episode after the winter break. The title, alone, is enough to get me pumped.

There's a lot coming in the next 5 episodes. Thoughts?

I don't expect it to tie too much into the plot of any show (except The Flash as Barry and Iris get married and them inviting everyone probably jump starts the crossover), but if they can work the crossover into relevance or lasting impact with the plot of the seasons, I bow to their mastery

I just hope they handled the Legion story right as in that it will have relevance to some aspect of the season, not just for the sake of cool comic book fanservice

I think you're right. Post-crossover especially, things get real, especially when it comes to Reign

I don't think it has been a slow start at all, I think the pacing has been great.....it's like its been on a slow simmer and after Midvale they simply turn up the heat and it will be boiling over when it "Reigns"....so to speak.
