I don't think it's a case of "politically influencing" a fanbase as much as attracting a like minded fanbase. Supergirl fans are just more likely to lean progressive. #analysis

As a side note, I don't do the Instagram thing, myself, though I have followed links to it from time to time, including Melissa's. As a platform, it looks one step up from Twitter, which (to me) is the social media equivalent to Dante's Ninth Circle of Hell.

And for someone who plays someone who is supposed to stand for truth and justice...Melissa Marie Benoist has officially...ALIGNED HERSELF W/THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY and its rather bad record on human rights.

So in a way, I am glad this is Supergirl's last season...at least I can get back to watching Life Liberty and Levin and The Next Revolution on Fox News...the only decent shows left on that channel after its leftist lurch.
