It looks like Supergirl is taking over her cousin's big day. DC Comics is announcing its "Summer of Supergirl Slate." And it all starts as Supergirl Takes Over Superman Day on April 18.

And this Fanboy Factor article I have linked is loaded with Supergirl things to come as the movie nears its June premiere.

For example:

With excitement building for June’s theatrical release of Supergirl, DC is inviting retailers, partners, and fan communities to participate in the celebration and engage consumers through themed in-store and digital activations. Look out for talent signings, limited-time promotions, curated collections, fan-driven events, loyalty incentives, and other in-store activations at your local comic book shop or retailer. Stay tuned to @DCcomics and DC.com/Superman for the latest can’t-miss updates hitting comics shops nationwide!

And then this...

From Comic to Screen: The Art of Supergirl: The Woman of Tomorrow From Comic to Screen: The Art of Supergirl: The Woman of Tomorrow is an in‑depth look at the creation of both the comic and the film it inspired. This deluxe hardcover art book traces the journey from the pages of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow to its cinematic adaptation, exploring how the comic shaped the vision for DC Studios’ Supergirl. Featuring concept art, production visuals, and new interviews with the comic’s creators and the filmmakers, this volume offers a comprehensive look at how Kara Zor-El took flight in the DC Universe. With a foreword by DC’s Jim Lee, the book is written by James Field with a cover by Bilquis Evely.
