Of course this all depends on the story line ...
I think it might be a mistake to bring in Superman to help fight the Daxamites.
The more help Kara gets in her battles the weaker she looks.
It was great in season one when she took on Red Tornado, Reactron, etc by herself. But every time J'onn and Clark show up to help it implies Kara is not strong enough to win by herself.
I think it behooves the writing staff to only bring Superman in to the story if makes Kara stronger - like Superman gets captured and Kara has to save him.
I really loved season 1. I am still waiting for the magic to be in season 2.
Let Kara be the hero that she can be!!!

I'm with you on this one, jdbop.
I like the Superman character but feel that his inclusion should be limited as to not detract from Kara and her story. However, the PTB and the writers feel that his inclusion in 3 episodes this season is / was warranted. The overall proof will be in the pudding.
It might be an attempt to boost ratings heading into S3, or it could be that they feel that Superman must somehow help save the day as part of the grand season finale. The rationale for the character's inclusion kind of escapes me, but they're the ones calling the shots and making the decisions.

If they write in the way they did the first two eps of the season I don't see a problem with him coming in to help.

Technically, Superman was in the season 1 finale too and it wasn't a problem. ;-)
