Bah ha... I thought that same thing when Lena was drunk and told Kara that Kara can't fool her. lol

But, I think it's going to be a bigger reveal than just an "I already knew, silly." Or, at least, it better be I want dramatics, people!

It really does seem like Lena knows because of all the hints she drops. I was almost certain she knew but I do believe that the execs said she didn't. Unless they are misleading us to make it a surprise.

But I agree that they will probably make it as dramatic as they can.

I expect that it will be played out on screen as "shocked disbelief".
At least, that's the way I wrote it in my own fan fiction story:


It is now about 11 AM the next day (Thursday). Lena is in her office at the LexCorp building when Kara knocks on the door. Lena lets her in…

Lena (clearly surprised and relieved): Kara! I’m so glad to see you’re OK! I guess you probably heard what happened in Crystal Beach yesterday! Where have you been – doing undercover reporter work?
Kara (smiling): No, I was there the whole time!
Lena (looking confused and at a loss for words): What do you mean?
Kara: So I hear you’re an unofficial member of the Supergirl Team now!
Lena: Yes, that’s what Alex said!
Kara: How would you like to become an official member?
Lena (smiling): Oh, that would be great! … What do I have to do?
Kara (grinning): Just watch!

Kara tears her shirt open and changes to Supergirl in front of Lena…

Lena (taken aback and momentarily speechless):
Wow!....It never occurred to me…..Now it all makes sense… Alex started to call you Kara yesterday when you were being held hostage. And I never saw you and Supergirl… I mean, in your secret identity… Uhh, I don’t really know how to put it…
Kara (smiling): I know exactly what you mean, Lena!
Lean (smiling): So now I’m a member of the Supergirl Team?
Kara: Yes, an official member! So now you need to know our motto – “Hope, Help, and Compassion for All!” And also our slogan – “El Mayarah”! That’s Kryptonian – it means “Stronger Together”!
Lena: Well, I’ll drink to that! In fact, why don’t we do it together?

I don't believe Lena will be angry. Kara has not been forthcoming it's true, but she has never actually lied to her by denying it. Most people who know either already knew or figured it out for themselves. To my recollection she only volunteered the information to Lucy and Winn, and both times for legitimate reasons. So far in their relationship no such reason has existed. I do think Lena at minimum suspects, as Cat did. She'll be rather delighted to find she is correct. My hope is that the confirmation is done dramatically, perhaps by Kara having to rescue Lena in a split second as some others have suggested, or by the two of them collaborating to solve a problem which requires Kara to reveal her powers.

I personally think Reign might tell Lena about Kara. Like Sam and Lena seem to be good friends, I can imagine Reign probably would try to avoid hurting Lena if possible.

I'm more conserned about how she will react to the discovery that her friend Sam is a Supervillian.

Here's another thought to built off that. Maggie knew THE only person Alex would freak out over was if it was Kara in danger... Might Lena figure that out, too, if it's a mission Lena is in on to help Supergirl? hmmm....

Kara is likely to believe that Sam can redeemed as well. Kara thinks everyone can be redeemed. Remember Kara nearly got killed last season because she had to put in a last ditch effort to save Rhea. 9 times out of 10 the first words Kara says to a villian are "you don't have to do this, let me help you". This is her MO, So odds are Kara is going to try to redeem Sam. When you add in the fact that Sam and Kara are friends at this point, and the fact that Sam is a single mom (Kara lost both her parents at 13, she won't want Ruby to have to go through that), Kara will probably give Sam more chances then most, possibly more chances then Lena would. If Kara has to take Sam down Lena will probably react the same as she did to Jack's death. And if she doesn't feel like she can talk to Kara about it maybe she will talk to James.

The only reason they delay it so long is likely because they want to make a conflict out of it.

A lot of people wonder why Kara won't tell Lena is because Alex is her yellow sun (makes her stronger) Mon-El is her krytonite but Lena is her red sun. She can be normal and human around her and Kara doesn't wanna lose that.

I think there will be a season long fall out. Lena is going to feel betrayed and considering the hang ups she has about her Luthor name, she is going to believe wrongly that not even her best friend trusts her because of her family.

That will take some work getting out of.

I believe that Lena doesn't know yet and that the reason why she is unaware is because the writers and producers are still trying to decide about Lena's future and want to keep that card in play until a decision is made.

If the writers decide to have Lena follow the Luthor path and become evil, they may be examining the possibility of Kara's reveal being the start of a domino effect of Lena's fall from good to evil. It may be that the reveal causes an immediate trigger of events for Lena or it may be just the first apple plucked from the virulent tree.

Even if they decide that Lena won't become evil, I still think that the reveal will result in a major source of conflict between the two women.

If you watch carefully when Kara catches the bullet, there is a tall blond woman, a bit off to her left, who is a bit slow about ducking...and clearly saw the bullet catch. There is now someone to tell Lena.
