Hey you guys its been 3 years since i've posted anything here(and I'm sorry for that) but with all the mayhem of the last 3 years I had to return to post! I know that the show is going to delve into a LOT for this coming season but in my humble opinion I think the writers are blowing a HUGE opportunity in NOT introducing Cassie Stanwick(aka Wonder Girl) into the show. I can perfectly envision a scenario where Cassie can be introduced through her mother Helen and I've written out a detailed "mini-arc" of sorts below.
Helen(and Cassie) open up a special archaeological exhibit in front of the Supergirl statute museum but Kara's new boss Rojas is ticked off at Helen's sudden appearance in National City. Kara uses her reporter skills to gain entry into the exhibit and introduces herself to both of them and after getting to know them(for a few episodes), her new boss confronts them and Helen demands a reason for not allowing her team to have an archaeological dig in new ancient Mayian runes that were recently discovered(see where I'm going here?) Anyways through Winn she would learn that Rojas is returning to the site of the ruins and she would go(as Supergirl) to investigate only to find out that it really isn't a Mayian ruin but a graveyard.
Rojas is planning to use a bizarre Mayan ritual to unleash more prisoners from where Midnight was and when Supergirl confronts her boss, she would use magic to gravely injure the heroine(she is weak to magic after all). Just as she's about to finish her off, Cassie protects Kara in all of her Wonder Girl glory but the site of her just pisses Rojas off all the more. It would be revealed that Rojas hates Cassie because the mayans and the amazonians (the IRL amazonians not the DC version) despised each other. Cassie would correct the record while accidentally revealing that the former POTUS Olivia was Wonder Woman. After the battle ends Kara is shocked by the connection because she was technically friends with a deity. The mini arc would end with Cassie inviting Kara, Alex and Nua to Paradise Island to become honorary Amazonians. What do you guys think of my way to introduce Cassie? Comment below and lets get this discussion rolling!

I'm a fan of Cassie, but I've got to agree with Kelly. We don't need any more heroes on this show. Bring the focus back round to our lead.

No more Superheroes.....Supergirl was delegated to a sidekick the first half of last season. No more superheroes are needed.

Martian Manhunter, Dreamer and Brainy are plenty.
