How do you feel about spoilers?

I try to avoid spoilers as much as i can but if i do get spoilt i'll end up watching anyway lol.

I am pretty much a spoiler whore but too much can ruin things. I need spoilers for major events like deaths so I can mentally prepare myself and I like to know things like who the villains are so I can read up on them before watching the episode. I think that enhances the viewing experience a bit.

I enjoy an episode more if I don't know anything about what's coming.

I think I'm going to try and not follow so much of the BTS stuff, and just go back and look mid-season. For example: I don't wanna know what Reign looks like until she reveals herself on screen. I don't even want to know ahead of time about what episode we could expect her to reveal herself. I remember how totally cool it was to FINALLY find out who Hank Hendshaw was, and how neat it was to suddenly see him change on screen. We didn't have nearly the amount of BTS then that we do now, mainly because now they film on easy fan access locations throughout Vancouver.

I think speculating about spoilers is kind of its own entertaining activity. But I do think it does often ruin the enjoyment a bit if you knew too much or if doesn't turn out the way you expected. That the impression is more powerful if you were really floored by what was happening.

The spoilers are a mixed blessing/curse. Sometimes they enhance the anticipation for an episode or set of episodes and other times, they diminish the overall product because it removes the surprise factor. In my case, I don't mind them because I tend to see how it/they fit into the final product after it has been viewed.
