I seem to be perplexed by the star rating system...or is it just me?

From the season five finale results, I would guess the number of small stars are the rating.

The larger stars look like outlines or "empty stars," indicating they don't count.

Or am I missing something? (Always possible.)

It looks like it is turned upside down with 0 stars "☆" at the top and 6 stars "☆☆☆☆☆☆" at the bottom. The opposite of how it was previously. That or the * now represents the star rating and the ☆ is meaningless. It is confusing. Are the * in error and they should actually be solid ☆? This needs to be fixed before voting starts.

Perhaps it looks like that to prevent voting until the episode airs?

The 0-6 star system already confused me, as I am so versed in a 1-5 star system, with 1 star a fail and 5 stars signifying excellence.

I need screen shots. This is what I see:

You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun, Kal. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders.

This is what I see on my phone. On my desktop, all of the voting options look like they do in the "Results" section.

I haven't had a chance to get to my desktop. So it might display differently now.

So somewhere a long the line, Chrome and Firefox diverged on how they render black star and white star. I had to find new star symbols so they would render the same on both browsers. I hope the issue is fixed now.

Edge and Chrome share the same base (Chromium). My bet is that Edge would render it pretty much the same as Chrome. I should try that out later.
