BTS Season 5 Thread

Azie seemed pretty sure they just wrapped episode 1 and were starting 2 on Monday. I wonder how hard it is to feel the emotions of a scene/episode when they film out of order.

And Melissa said they just wrapped Ep. 2 and starting 3, asked Sarah and she said yes.....lol

There was some filming going on in Vancouver's shipyards over the last few days. And this was to Melissa's liking as it dealt with dinosaurs. If you know it or not, had she not been in acting, Melissa would have gone into studying dinosaurs.

Well, little miss (or is it misses) silliness posted some pics on her Instagram acting like she might in the next couple of weeks as her 31st birthday is coming up.

UPDATE: Well gang, thanks to Canadagraphs, there are some more BTS stuff of Melissa, David Harewood and Mitch Pileggi as Rama Kahn.

It's for episode 8, one before Crisis titled "The Wrath of Rama Khan." Looks like someone on the writing staff loves Star Trek movies...I will not do a William Shatner impersonation (heh!)

At the beginning of her shooting day, Melissa showed up and surprised a group of school children that had stopped to watch the filming. She came over, high fiving them all, and even telling them a little bit of what she was going to do in the scene.

Looks like recent married life has not taken away her kid loving powers.

Mon-el and Imra were clearly married and the show runners flaunted a possible affair that whole season, and James was engaged for most of S1 and that love triangle, so I think some prop wedding ring means nothing at this point. time will tell.

They will not ever write Kara as the other woman, they didnt in season 3, and no...it was not hinted at either, just finished binging all of season 3. They still loved each other...yes, but Kara would have never acted on that desire, nor will it happen with this new guy.

Yah, I think I read that J’onn’s brother was gonna be shapeshifting a lot. So much so that they’re not casting an actor to play him in human form. It makes sense he would impersonate Kara or Alex.

But, she is wearing the new suit. I thought that'd be in the next episode and the first one would have skirt. (I may be wrong).

I'm hoping we get to the new suit, quicker than Episode 2, however at this point....who knows, different things were being said as to where they were filming, even Melissa was kind of confused on what they were starting when they got back.

Alex is likely shape-shifted by J'onn's brother or controlled by Leviathan.

James and Lucy weren’t engaged. They were looking at a place together but we don’t know if they moved in together. James was single when they met. Kara and Mon-El had unfinished business. Neither choose to end the relationship at the end of season two. They got to choose their ending in the season three finale. I highly doubt the EPs will start any sort romantic thing between Kara and a married man she’s never met before.

I believe this was noted in another thread that's been deleted but it appears the new reporter William Dey will not be a love interest for Kara. These BTS shots clearly show him wearing a wedding ring. From what I can find the actor Staz Nair isn't married IRL so I can't think of a reason for him to be wearing that ring except to show that the character is married.


Personally I think the EPs have found a perfect way to signal their intentions and I appreciate the effort to stop the speculation and shipping before it starts.
