While going to work, I always listen to Blake Neely's music from Supergirl S1 to S3. Any favourite piece?

Here is my top 5 :

1) Hope Speech/Lifting Fort Roz (S1)
2) Saving her sister and the Ark (S2)
3) Drowning (S3)
4) Supergirl vs. Reign (S3)
5) Harnessing Anger (S1)

P.S. I hope I'm expressing myself correctly as French is my first language.

You are doing great! I would not have guessed English is not your first language. :)

Thank you so much! I normally write from what comes up on the top of my head. I'm against Google Translation. I do like to use Oxford or Larousse dictionary from time to time. :D

Season 1 was the best season and the music was very good as well.

The first season soundtracks of each of the Arrowverse shows tend to be my favorites.

I think they have the strongest musical identities and best express the unique characteristics of each series.

As time goes on, they sort of converge and start sounding more like each other. Still great, just less--distinctive.

P.S. I hope I'm expressing myself correctly as French is my first language.

I love film and television scores! For my money, Blake, with his Cow on the Wall team, is one of the best in the business.

There are great choices. I can only add a few to that awesome lineup.

Chatting with Clark (S1) - Not an action cue, but I find it deeply powerful in its own way.

Superman (S2) - The first track of the season 2 album alone was worth the purchase price.

Reign (S3) - Haunting and regretful, but beautiful.

Also, whenever we hear his Krypton motif, I am a happy camper.

All good choices particularly Superman. Along those lines, we have ''Famous cousins working together'' (also in Kiwi's top 5) which I find delightful.

Season 1 was the best season and the music was very good as well. This morning, I was listening to ''Alex brings back Kara''. This is one of my favorite songs. It played during the episode : For the girl who has everything (one of the best episodes of the entire series). When you listen to this song, you feel the emotions and it's very intense. I realize now that my top 5 should have been a top 10... :p

Finally, this morning, when listening to some music from S2, I noticed that the ''Luthors'' has a dark and haunting Harry Potter feels to it. Everytime you see a Luthor in some sort of dark situation, you can hear a bit of this part. Even in season 4.

P.S. I hope I'm expressing myself correctly as French is my first language.

Excellent choice LibertyPrime, I very much enjoy that track and it was nearly going to be my No. 5.

I don't know if you noticed but 2 of my favorite piece have a small part of Harnessing anger in it : saving her sister and the ark from S2 and drowning from S3.

I do remember it from those scenes in S2 and S3, a good choice to enhance both those moments. I'll always associate it with Solar Flare though.

Another thing I'd like to add is I enjoy the use of trumpets, my favourite scene that utilised them was at the end of the Season 1 episode 'Human For a Day' when Supergirl got her superpowers back and performed some superheroic deeds (saving the school bus and blowing out the building fire), a triumphant sound to go with the triumph of Supergirl saving lives and saving the day :) .

Very good choices Kiwi. I adore the piece Harnessing anger and the scene was so powerful. I think it's actually the scene I've rewatched the most. I don't know if you noticed but 2 of my favorite piece have a small part of Harnessing anger in it : saving her sister and the ark from S2 and drowning from S3. Often, when Supergirl pushes her limits to the extremes, Mr Neely includes this part.

About the piano part, there are 2 songs that I listen over and over : I'm so proud of you (S2)... this was a sad and emotional scene between Alex and Kara after Kara sent Mon-El away in her pod. Also, in S1, when Alex confesses about killing Astra, that was another incredible moment. The song playing was : afraid of losing you.

Thanks for the link for Blake's music. :)

I do enjoy Blake's music. Much like the show most of my favourite music of his is from Season 1.

My Top 5:

1) Hope Speech / Lifting Fort Rozz (S1) - Inspirational and the Choral piece at the end was just magnificent and added so much to the emotion and power of the scene.
2) Harnessing Anger (S1) - Another piece of music that added emotion and power to the scene (Supergirl unleashing Solar Flare on Red Tornado), I still remember being wowed by the music the first time I watched that scene.
3) Theme from Supergirl (S1) - Full of Joy and Hope much like Supergirl herself. I was happy this music was used during Supergirl's Superheroics in the Opening scene of Season 4.
4) Famous Cousins Working Together (S2) - Supergirl and Superman save the Venture
5) Gift from Clark/Stronger Together (S1) - I enjoy any time the piano is used and this was a really good piece.

Honourable mentions go to the piano pieces used in the Season 2 and Season 3 finales.

If anyone would like to listen to pretty much all of Blake's music from every episode of Supergirl Season 1 and 2 attached is a link to his website where he has it freely available for your listening pleasure.
