We all remember back in the pilot episode of Supergirl as Kara was trying on various outfits before settling on her choice. The song used during that section was the 1981 funk classic "She's a Bad Mama Jama."
Well, the man who sang that song, Carl Carlton, died December 15th at the age of 72.
Carlton, born in Detroit, scored a prior hit in 1974 with his Billboard #6 cover of Robert Knight's "Everlasting Love."
