The Sterling Gates-authored "Adventures of Supergirl" comics series paralleled the TV show pretty closely. In that series, Alex was referred to as biomedical engineer. It's very plausible that she might have gotten a degree in biomedical engineering if her original plan was to go to medical school.

If we stretch our minds far enough, we can make anything seem plausible, lol. A tibia fracture takes upwards of a few months to heal. So, unless it took the DEO many months to track down Fort Rozz so SG and team could see the Priestess, then I don't think we can go with the time frame option. I guess if we want to make it right in our own heads, we'll have to use the 31st C technology rationale.

Pretty convenient for L-Corp to have an MRI right in their own facility. My workplace only offers a wellness plan through our local rec center.

Keep in mind that Alex works for the DEO and they deal with all things alien, including alien technology. Maybe they have some kind of medical alien tech that speeds up healing.

If Reign goes dormant then Sam could have changed her mind and put Alex off for a couple of weeks. Alex has no reason to push if Sam says she hasn’t had more issues and puts the exam off. It does look like we’ll be getting a little more on Alex’s background as far as education.

Glad Brie you are playing that role here. I am thinking since Alex, despite her occasional hitting the bottle, tries to keep herself in shape and that helps with the healing. Or perhaps she suffered a sprain not a break...or the writers are up to their USUAL wonky stuff.

As far as development, education is always a good way to go.

She said broken not sprained in S3E19 and sprains don’t get casts. The “I had a job in Seattle” was great call back to Chyler’s former role as Alexandra (Lexi) Gray.
