Tonight marks the thrid new episode of four before the dreaded nine week break where Legends of Tomorrow takes over the time slot to finish out their season. We find ourselves holding on to these episodes more than usual since this little oasis in 2018 is coming to an end soon. Because of that, we are even more excited about these sneak peeks released this morning! The first shows Sam and Alex looking into her time lapses and features a cute callback to Chyler Leigh's previous job on Grey's Anatomy. The second is a look at Mon-El and Kara discussing the Worldkillers. Check them out below:
Let us know what you think of the sneak peeks in the comments below and in the forum (which is now working even better since I fixed a jQuery issue). Also keep us advertisement free and visit the support page if you can.

The Sterling Gates-authored "Adventures of Supergirl" comics series paralleled the TV show pretty closely. In that series, Alex was referred to as biomedical engineer. It's very plausible that she might have gotten a degree in biomedical engineering if her original plan was to go to medical school.
Yeah, it's a cover story. I'm pretty sure Alex didn't get kicked out of college though. My understanding is that she was on academic probation and when J'onn visited her in jail and told her about the DEO/recruited her, she turned her life around and fished college before going to work for the DEO.
Interesting job background that Alex gave. That surely has to be a cover story though because didn't J'onn recruit her right after she got kicked out of college?
Pretty convenient for L-Corp to have an MRI right in their own facility. My workplace only offers a wellness plan through our local rec center.
Keep in mind that Alex works for the DEO and they deal with all things alien, including alien technology. Maybe they have some kind of medical alien tech that speeds up healing.
In "Stronger Together" she was stabbed deep through her thigh by the Hellgrammite. She was running around in "Reactron". In "Falling", Kara broke Alex's arm when throwing her to the ground, she appeared completely healed with full flexibility in "Manhunter" which was based immediately afterwards.
Quoting RobertAnthony:
She said broken not sprained in S3E19 and sprains don’t get casts. The “I had a job in Seattle” was great call back to Chyler’s former role as Alexandra (Lexi) Gray.
Glad Brie you are playing that role here. I am thinking since Alex, despite her occasional hitting the bottle, tries to keep herself in shape and that helps with the healing. Or perhaps she suffered a sprain not a break...or the writers are up to their USUAL wonky stuff.
As far as development, education is always a good way to go.
Playing Devil’s advocate here. We don’t know the time jump between Legion of Superheroes and Fort Rozz it could have been a couple of weeks. 31st century technology could have sped up her healing. If Reign goes dormant then Sam could have changed her mind and put Alex off for a couple of weeks. Alex has no reason to push if Sam says she hasn’t had more issues and puts the exam off.
It does look like we’ll be getting a little more on Alex’s background as far as education.
