It's certainly not a nine week break like we had to suffer through last year, but it is something for all Supergirl fans to note. After two new episodes for The Girl of Steel in season 4, we are going to have a break on February 3rd. That means we will get to watch Suspicious Minds on Sunday and Blood Memory the following Sunday but then a break! At this moment there are no indications that the break will be longer than this one night pause but anything is possible. Remember these one to two week breaks are quite normal in the second half of the season. For those that are interested, we'll be treated to a rerun of Call to Action.

First off, I say predictable, but very wise move by the CW and perhaps the other networks.
OT: As SB LIII is in Atlanta, a "superwoman" of soul and "Big Peach" native Gladys Knight will sing the national anthem. I would like to see my team the Patriots go back to the big game to take on Drew Brees and the Saints that way you have a battle of two of the best quarterbacks in the game. But, that Mahomes is a wizard with the football.
Given the...politics of the awards shows...Oscars notwithstanding.
Awards shows or sports shows , it sucks to be on a Sunday in February or even March sometimes. When it should be Supergirls sweeps month they will be sidelined instead with no momentum. I honestly think they should have just come back in March.
I always thought the Super Bowl was a January tradition but I guess they started the season later? Not to mention they are now wondering if they should even hold it because of the shutdown situation.
True, but unfortunately the Grammys are on February 10th. I think more people may tune into that this year than the Oscars. Most people like to see the performers on there.
It is being done to avoid conflicting with the NFL's Super Bowl since he majority of the general U.S. viewing audience will be tuned in to watch that live broadcast. This avoids a ratings pitfall for SG and is only a one week delay between a re-run and a new set of episodes.
All is well in SG-land.
Glad Supergirl was still on Mondays when my Eagles made it to the big game last year.
Sunday still doesn't feel right to me...
Just an FYI rtms77 that February 3 is the Super Bowl and not an awards show.... If we only get the one week break I think we can all handle that. But given that the Oscars will also be in February (on the 24th) there is no guarantee I guess!! Hopefully we get 2 new episodes in between the two!!!
