Seven of seven! This is it, the final episode of Supergirl before the hiatus and the conclusion of The Phantom Zone story arc. On top of that, This is a David "Money" Harewood directed episode! While we never like hiatuses, this is a great way to go out on one. Whether this was planned from Melissa's pregnancy, planned because of the Superman and Lois covid scare, or simply serendipitous, fitting seven episodes into a contained period before a break is kind of perfect. We can almost view this as a season all to itself! We are very curious what team Supergirl will go through in the Phantom Zone, read the full synopsis below:

Wow - that is great news! I agree -thanks Comic Fan
Thank you Brierrose, that is good to know. I can honestly say that for right now, Season six is my second favorite season right after Season 1. Another thing that Melissa said in "Entertainment" was " I think that sisterhood is the bedrock of the show. There's no shortage of Kara and Alex moments this year, " This made me very happy. Last but not least, another article states "Meanwhile, Supergirl co-showrunner Jessica Queller has promised an "emotional" series finale for the show."
Adult Kara isn't in any stills for the next episode. It's not for sure, but there MAY be a possibility that we are putting the Phantom Zone plot aside during the young Danvers episodes.
If so, it'd be interesting to come back, in "Fear Knot", and explore adult Kara's condition. I mean, who knows how long her time in the Phantom Zone has been, to her on the inside. She definitely had a "loss of hope" look on her face, when saw her last shot in "Lost Souls". I know we want Kara to eventually be okay. But, to me, it would be really emotionally compelling to explore the trauma that the phantoms have put her through, since the tower Nyxly was in exploded. Like, if Alex or J'onn found her, and she thinks they are illusions, just as Zor-El thought Kara was an illusion. Perhaps with the PZ portal mirror destroyed, she has given up on escape, and upon finally escaping, needs some time.
Bottom line, I think it's important that Kara comes out of the other side of this, carrying those experiences and trauma with her, which can impact the rest of her season.
I was hoping Kara would be home by the end of this end of this episode and that seems like what’s happening. I wonder if everyone goes into the PZ to get Kara, from a tactical perspective it makes sense to have at least two people stay behind. I can see Kelly and M’gann staying behind to monitor things and serve as a backup rescue team.
It will be interesting to see what everyone’s worst fears are. J’onn’s would definitely involve fire. Alex maybe finding Kara died just before they get to her. Brainy’s could be becoming a villain without his inhibitors. Nia’s would involve someone dying because she misinterpreted a dream. I think they kinda foreshadowed Lena’s which would be Kara blaming her for Lex sending her to the PZ.
I hope the episode ends with a big homecoming party with potstickers just like Alex planned.
