Favorite Fight Scene Season 2

Happy Supergirl Monday everyone! While we are still over 100 days away from season 3, we are still looking to find out what was the best of season 2. So far we've covered the best episode, favorite villain, best supporting actor, favorite guest appearance, and best scene! Now we are looking for the best fight scene from season 2. We've put up a lot of choices to the right (below on mobile) but if you feel we've missed one let us know and we'll consider adding it. Voting will last until Wednesday!

I have to agree with those that had some problems with the "Alex" episode. The writing was the problem for me, it was like it was written by people that didn't really know the characters. It was almost like, oh crap we need a Maggie/Alex centric episode lets throw one in here. The acting, as always was great, but characterization was totally off. IMO, just my opinion. At this point in Maggie and Alex's relationship....YEAH, Kara does trump her....they Kara and Alex have been through far more than Alex and Maggie, far more of putting themselves on the line for each other, far more time and energy given...so yeah, Kara does trump Maggie. "I should have been heard, I should have been listened to???" why because she is a good cop (which we haven't seen any build up of...or much written at all) or is it because she is her girlfriend? And YES, I was extremely disappointed in the scene where Alex asks to speak with Maggie alone to say good-bye and not Kara. Kara saved Maggie from doing something stupid, Kara got Maggie to where Alex was quickly, and Kara got Alex out, and yet....no thank you from Alex. It was an episode that showed an immense lack of knowledge of the sister relationship between Kara and Alex. Eric Carrasco hit it out of the ballpark on "Exodus", not sure what happened on "Alex".

Well, polls aren't always 100% trustworthy. Alex scenes on here haven't fared as well in polls (this season) and yet on other big sites doing polls (like Spoiler TV) she has won almost every one she's been in (I think, I don't follow polls too much). I think the last poll she won was Character cup, and Chyler has won best actress more than once. We also have to consider that fandoms where ship wars are a daily thing don't care about voting for platonic relationships when they could be showing how "big and popular" their favorite romantic ship is. I've also seen several polls on Tumblr where Kara and Alex beat out the romantic ships as favorite relationship of the show, Kara and Alex are also usually the top 2 favorite characters of the show in similar polls that I've run into whereas on here it was Mon-el and Lena. Cat Grant is a big and loved character but she was far off from winning in the favorite supporting actor poll. So yeah, polls are not always to be trusted imo.

Exactly this. So many moments needed to resolve tensions or just follow ups to show their bond. In "Alex" she almost died & said SG was above her life (again), follow up VERY needed. Also so peeved that Alex thinking she's going to die would not say goodbye to Kara, instead she'd rather talk alone with Maggie, what a blow to Kara :sad: & also so out of character for Alex.

if you're still taking poll suggestions one could be favorite shape-shifting "twist" like Alex and Winn not being real Alex and Winn in 2x11, Jeremiah actually being J'onn in 2x15, Kara actually being J'onn in 2x17, Lena not being Lena in 2x12. M'gann revealing herself to be a white martian instead of a green martian in 2x04.

I'm surprised Manhunter and Supergirl vs. Cyborg Superman, Supergirl vs. the White Martian, and Manhunter and Miss Martian vs. the other White Martian didn't make the list.

Personally, I consider the Metallo fights to be one fight.

That's the exact same reason as to why I didn't like it, as an alternative they could've shown Supergirl and Superman fighting the Daxamites in National City, maybe saving/protecting ordinary citizens from the Daxamite Invasion or even some more Kara and Clark scenes, anything but having them fight.
