On top of that, Maggie's father is coming to town and Eliza Danvers returns to throw the happy couple a wedding shower! This episode sounds like its going to be packed with amazing moments! M'Gann, of course, returns as well! You can get a great look of what to expect coming this Monday October 23rd, at 8:00pm by checking out the gallery of images below:

Picture number 2 is the best picture in this group (although I like all the pictures) - it has that bright smile that has been missing from Kara for awhile. It is so great to see that smile again. I'm interested in what is being said in that scene that would bring back that radiant smile.

There has been an apparent lack of agency for the James Olsen character that's a carryover from last year. His onscreen is getting less and less with each passing episode. I'm not sure if the character is slowing being written out of the story or the writers just don't know what do with the character as far developing it. I mean they made him Guardian last year, so this a way of brushing the character into the background we don't know but the signs are pointing that things are not looking good for the former photojournalist of the Daily Planet. Maybe his SL is being differed until 3B we don't know, but he hasn't had much screentime in 3A. In the series 1st season on CBS Mehcad Brooks screentime was on-par week after week, since the switch to the CW it's gone down a lot.

I think part of the problem is, you have this character from the comics, that is nothing like the character from the comics....BUT, you advertised him as the character from the comics...lol So now, everyone looks at him through that lens. THEN suddenly they try and build a new character in season 2, and quite a few didn't like that character (Guardian). So, now here we are with a character that just simply has no where to go...Few wanted him as just a love interest for Kara, so not sure if that is what he will end up being for Lena. Hope not...

I don't think the writers are writing him out of the series. Mehcad mentioned that he would have a new love interest this year and I believe that new love interest will be Lena. I have a feeling we'll be seeing much more of the James character as his relationship with Lena progresses.

Hopefully there is some chemistry between them, if there is that will be a great pairing, because with Kara the chemistry was flat as a pancake.

So, did Maggie and Alex not invite James?

He may be there, just not in any of those specific pics.

2...Now this is the Kara we want to see.

5...Helen Slater returns...yay!

Agree with you on both of these Robert. I especially like Helen returning and will be interested as to the conversation between Eliza and Winn.

E.T. "Why would Martians on Mars be taking human form?", FX Budget I assume, to show them in their Martian Form for the time that Supergirl and MM are on Mars would probably cost a lot more than the budget allocated to VFX for the episode.

Also, many of them could be living on earth in those human personas....and fill comfortable in that skin, so to speak. AND YES, the budget....lol

Why would Martians on Mars be taking human form? Only reason I can think of is to interact with Kara, otherwise it really doesn't make any sense.
