Supergirl kicked off The CW's new programming night (Sunday) with a very good performance and the general consensus is that The Girl of Steel is back and flying high! Some of you have noted that the show feels a little different this season and the way it is filmed is more cinematic. We agree and due to the events of last episode, we are going to see a big "Fallout" coming next Sunday. Taking a look at the images for the second episode this season, we are surprised how many pizza-related shots there are! It would seem there will be a big event at a pizza shop? Brainy carrying lots of pizza and yet still having the confused look on his face makes us laugh. Check out the images for yourself below:

Regarding her Office, what ever happened to the Office Cat gave her at the end of season 1?
The move from CBS to the CW is what happened to the office that Cat gave her ;-)

I've heard rumors about Brainy and Nia being romantically linked in the season but, in that third photo, their expression makes them look so much alike that they could be siblings.

I never really have understood why shows put out episode stills when they have previews. Between these and the previews, there are usually so many spoilers that I try to avoid them. That said, I think that if they're going to put out material that usually only hard-core fans see, they should make sure that it is as error-free as possible. The tattoo being left in is not a major deal but, it is someone's profession to make sure that errors like that are flagged and prevented from being sent out.

Also, I am a bit surprised in the lack of photos of any of the major regular characters from previous seasons in this episode, especially Kara.

Regarding Kara's computer, she probably still has the Microsoft Surface Tablet from season 1, just no need for it out on the desk at that moment?

Regarding her Office, what ever happened to the Office Cat gave her at the end of season 1? besides the nature of her job being out on the main floor might better facilitate her.

"And while I love the remodeled Catco office couldn't they have afforded a computer and phone for Kara's desk? How is she supposed to do her job? Only James knows that she is Supergirl at her day job."

I agree! In fact, I would expect Kara to have her own office (as she does in my own fan fiction stories) :-)

Very nice shots.

I just hope editing and the makeup crew catch the fact that Melissa's ankle has a tattoo in picture # 8. Are they going to explain this away meekly like they did the earrings gaffe in S1? Sheesh, details, people, details... They actually matter.

I'm sure we won't see her tattoo in the actual episode. Last week, when I was looking at the pictures for American Alien, I noticed that Kara is tapping her finger on Nia's lap when she's sitting on her desk and giving her a pep talk. When you see the actual scene, you know she's doing it but you don't see it because of the camera angle. I think that for this kind of show, we might see little mistakes (if there are indeed mistakes) from time to time. We have to remember that doing a television show requires a lot of hard work because of the limited time and budget. Even the greatest movies all of time made mistakes. Speaking of details (or mistakes), last year, when Kara is fighting with Reign (episode 3x09) on the street, you can clearly see Melissa's stunt double when she gets punched and when turning her face. It's even worse in slow motion. But even with that kind of ''mistake'', I thought this was one the best episodes of the series. I think it's important to remember all the hard work the people working on this show put up. At the end of the day, let's just enjoy the show! :-)

Melissa is to far away for a tiny bike tatoo to be seen anyway

The pictures of Brainy and Nia make me wonder if the rumored romance between the two starts with a meet cute in this episode.

Speaking of Nia, Nicole Maines let slip a revelation about her character in a recent interview with Vulture. While we can forgive her obvious enthusiasm for the role, one wonders if she got called on the carpet for her goof.

Ummm...she got it on Argo and they used special Kryptonian ink that didn't vanish when she returned to Earth?

I laughed when I saw that. Usually wardrobe and makeup do a good job concealing Melissa's ink but hopefully that was a rehearsal shot.

Just a note. They started filming while Melissa still was on Broadway. This may be from that period.

Episode 1 was good because it had alot of SuperGirl in it. I am hoping that the current set of pictures are not representative of the screen time SuperGirl/Kara will have in the episode but instead are more representative of editor choice of pictures to preview at this time.
