Quote: Interesting. Thanks for sharing this, Emsmomm. I can definitely see the writers utilizing this concept but am personally hoping that they don't.
Supergirl has already almost been killed once this season, so I don't think they'll do it again. Even if they did, it'd be in the finale and not episode 20.
That said, I would like to see an episode sometime similar to the two part Justice League Unlimited episode 'Hereafter'. In that episode everyone (other than Batman of course) believes that Superman is dead after a battle with some super villains, and have to deal with both the emotional aspects of his loss and trying to carry on saving the day without him. Superman however is not really dead and has actually been transported to a future post apocalyptic Earth with a red Sun and Vandal Savage as the only human survivor. With no super powers and no friends to help him, Superman has to resort to his wit, cunning, and courage to survive and find a way home.
The cool thing about this episode was that it really fleshed out Superman's character and showed why he's a hero beyond just his super powers. I'll admit that we do get a lot of this already on Supergirl, with episodes like Human For A Day and scenes like the hope speech, but more is always a good thing I think. :)
RobertAnthony.....at this point any fan theory is a definite possibility.
Well emsmomm, I went for the basics on the album, and you go deeper into it. Perhaps the title can also be a summation of the darker tone of this season, led by Reign and the Worldkillers.
Well, The CW also ordered a lot of new pilots this year, so there's that. However, renewing all the superhero shows seems like a no-brainer of a decision, which Mark Pedowitz predicted months ago.
"Dark Side of the Moon is a concept album that discusses the philosophical and physical ideas that can lead to a person's insanity, and ultimately an unfulfilled life. The album is a cautionary tale in two parts, the first half describes living a life that goes unfulfilled. The second half of the album consists of individual songs about different ideas and concepts that are detrimental to society and can lead to madness." (Courtesy of spinditty.com)
Flash and Arrow have not gotten thier next seasons, CW hasn’t announced any renewals any of thier shows DC or non DC.
