It's hard to imagine James being in charge without Cat's approval. I am interested in her reaction when she finds out James is goofing around playing Guardian instead of devoting himself to business. I'm sure Cat wants a full-time CEO for Catco.
People are going to find something to argue about no matter what...
If it is Red K or mind control, or something else similar then it won't be a who is stronger, it will be Kara trying to stop Kal-el without hurting him, much the way she did with Alex last season. She could have blown Alex out of that alley in 2 seconds, but instead was willing to die instead.
Kal-el and and Kara are both powerful, very powerful... the one who is willing to go all out with their powers is the one that will be the most powerful in this instance, and I already know that Kara is not going to do that. She will fight to protect her family and citizens, but in the end Kal-el is family as well so IMO it is simply going to be full on power struggle within Kara that will be far harder on her than the physical battle.
Zod will likely have something to do with this.
Darn right Rschick. I'll also point out how Superman simply treated his cousin as his equal, I still get a kick out of that "oh ah I'm with her line.". Lets not forget that Supergirl came up with the plan to fight the metallios and Superman agreed with it. Even though she's evil queen Rhea clearly ruled the house.

supergirl no longer waits for orders from J'onn on how to deal with things, she issues the orders and they are executed. The team around her is comfortable with a strong powerful woman in charge and she doesnt even hold the title of boss.
you have a relationship where the man is doing the cooking, laundry (reversal of traditional roles) and Mon-El is comfortable with the arrangement.
Lena is redefining her families company on her terms.
You have a woman exploring and gaining confidence in her own sexuality, and she did it on her terms.
you have a woman president.
Seems like they have it, and whats better is they are getting an audience comfortable with it.
No it didn't...just as Melissa has said from the beginning...
