February 6th's new episode of Supergirl has a title and a synopsis and this one is a doosy! Supergirl, M'Gann, and J'onn are going to be going up against a White Martian attack! As we've seen from season one, the White Martians are possibly one of the most deadly races in the Supergirl universe! The episode is titled, The Martian Chronicles and is described as:

WHITE MARTIANS ATTACK THE DEO — Armek (guest star Terrell Tilford), a White Martian, descends on National City intent on taking M’gann (guest star Sharon Leal) back to Mars to face her punishment as a traitor. Hank (David Harewood) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) determine the best way to keep M’gann safe is to bring her to the DEO. However, when it is revealed that Armek shape-shifted into M’gann and is now loose in the building, the team realize he could be disguised as any one of them. David McWhirter directed the episode written by Gabriel Llanas & Anna Musky-Goldwyn (#211). Original airdate 2/6/2017.

Taking a moment to reflect on this, its easy to take a lot for granted. Can you believe that we are going to get an episode with a White Martian attack! That could be a whole movie in itself yet its just one episode of many we get on The CW! Incredible!

Yeah, I'm really liking the M'Gann and Jonn story line. And anytime they want to give David Harewood more screen time is A OK by me. I've really come to love him. He's become my favorite next to my girl, that is. Love him. This one, I will watch live.

I never thought they'd bring the Hyperclan onto Supergirl, so this news is cool. I wonder if we'll see the character of Armek's "super" form from the comics or if he'll just be in his natural form before he shapeshifts into other people.

Sounds exciting with the promise of some good action and should be intense performances from David Harewood and Sharon Leal.

Hope it's as good as Season 1 Episode 11 was with it's Martian story and scenes.

I agree with you Van, we have Episode 9 Kevin Smith's blockbuster, Episode 10 with Livewire, this episode with the White Martian and Episode 13 with Mxy. It is going to be an entertaining start to the year.

I thought M'gann was already at the DEO. Didn't J'onn throw her in a cell a few episodes ago? Did they release her off screen? Did I miss something?
Maybe she is going to released in one of the next two episodes

This seems to focus on M'Gann and I agree that she has to team up with Supergirl and Martian Manhunter to deal with the White Martians.

The second half of the 2nd season looks to be shaping up real well.
