Yes there was. I think either Rhea, Lillian Luthor, or Dominators if they're in the season finale must have put Superman under some kind of mind control where he's hallucinating Zod.

You know there was talk of some kind of box that will come into play.

Could have been cool too if the Superman she's fighting isn't really Superman but Cyborg Superman fully upgraded to look like Superman. I thought Cadmus would have made further improvements to CSM by now.

I have to agree, the way those pics are coming across there are a few where Kara is in the same position as Zod. YEP, Superman is hallucinating that Kara is Zod. Hmmmmmm....this makes me much happier, I was afraid we were getting Ep. 19 and 20 of Season 1 again in the finale. This could be very, very interesting.

On careful examination, some of the Supergirls in the water are clearly Super Stunt Double, who does a truly fine job, but some are clearly the lead actress.

It's Superman who's probably under control (or hallucinating). Part of the dialogue was heard during filming with Supergirl telling Superman it's her and he has to fight (whatever he's under).

I would bet on hallucinating - there is a shot of Superman restraining Zod and another one with Supergirl being held by Superman the same way.
