Happy Friday and a special welcome and thank you to all our Veterans on this Veterans' Day Weekend! We are only a couple days away from a brand new episode of Supergirl and this time we are going to investigate Lena and Andrea's past! Judging from the photos, and there are a lot of them, eighteen in fact, Lena and Andrea go on an excursion together seeking something in the Mayan Aztec? There is also a lot going on at the DEO, we did see that in the trailer last week. Pay special attention to screens on the monitors at the DEO, there is a very interesting fellow there!

I'm not a fan of William being at the DEO, either. It seems like the DEO isn't nearly as secret as it should be. Of course, the writers could fix that with a few character lines regarding how with all of the recent alien issues, such as the Alien Amnesty Act and the problems with Rhea in Season 2, that the DEO is now a publicly known agency. I would buy that.

Holy Harrison Ford! By the way, his wife, Calista Flockhart's (Cat Grant) birthday is tomorrow, Veterans Day.

Also for the record, today is the 244th birthday of the US Marine Corps (semper fi). And for the admin to recognize Veterans Day coming up shows that real heroes don't have to wear capes (but it couldn't hurt!!!!!!). Got a couple of friends in our family who served this country, including one in World War II.

The one major thing I see is that William is at the DEO which is really odd since this is a top government Agency - I don't think it's a secret Agency any more with all the events that have taken place in past episodes.

I hope Kara hasn't already told William she's Supergirl. Maybe Kara "introduced" the two of them haha.

I don't know, Kara went from "I don't trust you" to "I want to help you so much; please let me show you my sister's above top secret government agency" in two episodes. She may have told him everything.

Those costumes and forest setting remind me of Jurassic Park and dinosaurs. I hope Lena doesn't get eaten like in Jurassic World :D

This looks like a very interesting episode as long as we do not spend too much time on Lena and Andrea. Again, I do not watch the show to see the Adventures of Lena and Andrea, I watch the show to see the adventures of SuperGirl.

I remain hopeful that this will be a good episode but the only three people I am mainly concerned with in this show are Melissa, Chyler and David. I am interested also in Lena but only as she relates to SuperGirl's story.

I'll obviously give it a chance. But I'm really not excited for this episode if it's primary focus is the Lena/Andrea flashback.

In photo #3, it looks like Lena may be picking some of those Mayan "magic mushrooms"! Hmm... could psilocybin be playing a role in some of what she's up to? :-)

I just realized I would totally watch a spin-off of Lena Luther's globe trotting adventures in search of forgotten relics.

I would totally tune in. To be honest, I'm not that thrilled about this origin story being shown on Supergirl. We see more and more origin stories from different characters when Supergirl should be the main focus. Midvale was so much fun. I would prefer to see more origin stories involving Alex and Kara. Let's hope the Andrea and Lena story doesn't take too much airtime. Although, I will remain open as I find these 2 characters interesting.
