WOW, looks like the CW is pushing hard on promotion for the final few episodes of the season! We already have images for next week's episode, "City of Lost Children"! Usually these become available on a Thursday or Friday! Nonetheless, here we go! There are some touching images of James mentoring a young alien boy, and a few of Rhea scheming but for our money, the most telling image is of Mon-El holding a gun on his mother! Talk about staying true to your side! This looks like its going to be pivotal for setting up the last two episodes.

I like Mon-El, but he's not a huge character in the comics. He's not even close to being as important as let's say Martian Manhunter and most normal people haven't even heard of Martian Manhunter. I think even the vast majority of comic book fans have never heard of Valor or Guardian.
Especially since they probably won't do Legion of Superheroes on Supergirl, because that would probably be way too expensive, I don't think his comic book ties matter.
But I do hope they keep him, I like the Daxamite storyline, and I wouldn't mind if they brought on more alien characters, like Sodam Yat, the Daxamite Green Lantern. And of course I would love it if the Legion made at least one guest appearance.
Anyhow I think his confrontation with his evil mum looks like a very exciting premise
Yeah Chris is definitely here to stay. The Kara and Mon-El relationship have already been compared to Westallen and people everywhere are fully invested in them, the 2nd kiss is close to 3 million views on youtube. and comic book fans World over cant wait to see him become the superhero from the comics. Him fully evolved has so much potential.
What you have with James/Guardian is what i have with Maggie for me she is a sidestory and have absolutely nothing to do with DEO or Kara.
Wow, that is a tough one...and I'm not trying to argue with you at all, you totally have a right to your opinion. I'm just thinking that the rest of the season and next season are going to be pretty tough because Mon-el is a huge part of canon in the comics, plus being Kara's love interest, and a member of the Legion of Superheros, as well as being far more connected to Supergirl comics than even Martian Manhunter and Guardian. I don't see him moving on real quick. But I understand where you are coming from, I'm pretty much the same way about Guardian/James.

This is utterly ridiculous - it is to the point you cannot voice an opinon on this site about Mon El unless it is postive. This should not be - no one criticizes you when you are for Mon El because you are entitled to your own opinion. For the last time, No No No - I do not like the Mon El character - if you can't deal with that tough. I am entitled to my opinion just like you are entitled to yours. People on this site are entitled to their opinion. You need to stop it. You are not going to bully anyone to change their mind. Get over it.

Yes - it does irritate me and that is my perogative. Like I said before, that is my hangup and my opinion it is not going to change - so let's just agree to disagree at least where I am concerned since my opinion is here to stay.
