If people want crossover episodes (like Elseworlds) they need to chill and understand that Melissa Benoist isn't going to be able to be featured as heavily in episodes leading up to the crossover (due to the challenge of basically filming 2 additional episodes). The show is doing fine.

I agree with you but not everyone prefers the crossovers if it means less of Melissa in the series. For those who do like the crossover then what you say rings true.
Yep. I'm not a crossover fan and would be very happy to do away with it and instead have more Melissa in a regular Supergirl episode that I am here to watch. But, I also know that the crossover is part of the CW superhero stunt so I deal with it.

As everyone has noted in previous episodes, the writing is much improved with less plot holes and more cohesion in the character's stories. While the arc may not be the most exciting story to watch, I'm still very confident that all the parts will start to come together and we'll see the impact of it more centered upon Kara, in the near future.

I love the crossovers far more than I had expected. I will take Crisis on Earth-X over any given Snyder-directed DC feature. :)

The complexity of these events is mind-boggling, and juggling resources in all departments for the multiple series involved has to be a nightmare. I am grateful beyond belief for the willingness of the cast, crew, and producers to put these epic events on every year.

Well said! I totally agree. The crossovers are extremely demanding. In season 1, the Flash was featured on Supergirl, he was part of an episode. It was not a real crossover. It was not additionnal work for Melissa. I felt that was the best "crossover". I would like it if they got back to this formula especially because of the chemistry between Grant and Melissa. But I can't complain with the 3 parts crossover; it does look incredible.

I never put much stock in these sneak peeks. Oh, they are nice to have and all that, but they typically only show one or two scenes, and only a few seconds of them at that. I don't regard them as a reliable indicator of the episode as a whole, and I am sure Kara/Supergirl will be prominent. As far as the focus being more exclusively on her, it's been emphasized from the beginning of the series that she follows the "stronger together" theme and seeks to work with a team. So the development of stories for those other members of her team doesn't bother me, as long as she has a prominent role in those stories. They have missed that mark a few times, but generally I think they've done pretty well developing these other characters while also giving SG a central role in their stories.

Right now with seeing this clip I think the show tries to stress on so many story lines and making of other superheroes that the main character tends to get lost at times. Maybe once I see the episode my opinion will change. However, I do agree that if people only stress on the negative points of the show it can lead to negative results and I certainly do not want this show taken off the TV. So a positive statement would be is that the writers are trying their best I think to give us more of Kara but they still have to learn to balance Kara and SuperGirl - hopefully the latter half of the season will do that.

Other users are right. We really need the majority of episodes to be about Kara herself. This is becoming a problem on The Flash this season as well

I am in agreement with you .

Even though it seems like this episode will focus a little more on Nia's story (the story has to move forward at some point anyway. She has to become the hero she's destined to be), I believe we will see a lot of Kara in this one. So, let's wait and see. I understand that the focus is not on Kara per say but she (Melissa) will have a lot of screentime. I can't wait for the humor the trio of Brainy, Nia and Kara will bring on this episode!

I like the decor of the apartment.

EDIT: And Nia's roommate delivers sound advice. Sleep deprivation is an express highway to erratic behavior (and, in extreme cases, even hallucinations). Take Elon Musk, for example.

Honestly, I do have to question the wisdom of having sneak peak, ostensibly a promotional clip, featuring such a recent addition to the cast. I am sure that I will have a lot of positive feelings about the episode, but this clip? It does little to make me intrigued about the episode.
