As everyone has noted in previous episodes, the writing is much improved with less plot holes and more cohesion in the character's stories. While the arc may not be the most exciting story to watch, I'm still very confident that all the parts will start to come together and we'll see the impact of it more centered upon Kara, in the near future.
I love the crossovers far more than I had expected. I will take Crisis on Earth-X over any given Snyder-directed DC feature. :)
The complexity of these events is mind-boggling, and juggling resources in all departments for the multiple series involved has to be a nightmare. I am grateful beyond belief for the willingness of the cast, crew, and producers to put these epic events on every year.
I agree with you but not everyone prefers the crossovers if it means less of Melissa in the series. For those who do like the crossover then what you say rings true.
Well said! I totally agree. The crossovers are extremely demanding. In season 1, the Flash was featured on Supergirl, he was part of an episode. It was not a real crossover. It was not additionnal work for Melissa. I felt that was the best "crossover". I would like it if they got back to this formula especially because of the chemistry between Grant and Melissa. But I can't complain with the 3 parts crossover; it does look incredible.
Even though it seems like this episode will focus a little more on Nia's story (the story has to move forward at some point anyway. She has to become the hero she's destined to be), I believe we will see a lot of Kara in this one. So, let's wait and see. I understand that the focus is not on Kara per say but she (Melissa) will have a lot of screentime. I can't wait for the humor the trio of Brainy, Nia and Kara will bring on this episode!
EDIT: And Nia's roommate delivers sound advice. Sleep deprivation is an express highway to erratic behavior (and, in extreme cases, even hallucinations). Take Elon Musk, for example.
Honestly, I do have to question the wisdom of having sneak peak, ostensibly a promotional clip, featuring such a recent addition to the cast. I am sure that I will have a lot of positive feelings about the episode, but this clip? It does little to make me intrigued about the episode.
