Both Sides Now Trailer

With the knowledge that there are likely more Worldkillers out there, Kara and the DEO begin to search for them in tonight's episode. Perfectly timed, it was at the end of the episode that Winn has tracked down four possibilities. Kara, from her terrifying nightmare recognizes one of them. That, of course, is Purity, played by Krys Marshall! To get a first glimpse of Purity's powers and what she can do vs Supergirl and the DEO, check out the trailer for next week's all new episode below:

One answer is the Supergirl superpower that has not been seen since IIRC the 1960s. But it helped here.

The superpower is, of course, super-intuition.
So, this dream that she had is actually a real power then? That's interesting. I hope we get to see her using more of it.

I think she has used it more recent iterations.

I’m not sure it’s super-intuition, let’s not forget in Girl of Steel Sam dreamed of Alura who turned into a monster. There’s some connection between Kara and the Worldkillers we just don’t know exactly what yet.

I believe that some people will suggest that super-intuition is a power that really should be left back in 1960, on the grounds it is decidedly not modern feminist. It was, however, a real power, at least once. Perhaps we could trade for 'can fly in outer space' and 'can fly faster than light'.

This episode looks like it's gonna be exciting! Can't wait to see Krys's acting chops when she goes head to head with Melissa.

Can't wait for purity. I hope they'll reveal about how it was possible that Kara dreamed of her.

I think there is more of a connection between all of them than we know....which probably would go back to Kara's father since he was a member of the Science Guild.

Glad they threw in at the start of last night's episode Kara having a nightmare about Purity. I think Superman in the comics may have had nightmares...or at least in an old Power Records story from the 1970's called "Tomorrow The World", where Superman has a nightmare about going nuts and destroying Metropolis...but...it's not what one thinks. I remember listening to it in the 80's.

Just a thought here.

Kara has had them at different times in the comics....one time she woke up and she had used her heat vision in her dreams and ended up burning a hole in the ceiling of her bedroom.

Very excited for this episode. It looks to be an action packed one. Purity seems to be another formidable opponent for Kara. Her white eyes are a nice touch to coincide with her name and possible powers. Based on what we've seen, I know that they captured her and then she escapes but, I have to wonder if her capture was actually a set-up on her part.
