Both Sides Now Sneak Peeks

Today we have an all new Supergirl! Unfortunately it's the only new one in February and we'll need to wait until April before we see another new one. Keeping that in mind, it looks like we are going to get a pretty impressive episode tonight! Based on the first sneak peek, it sounds like Alex and Kara are going to disagree on how to interrogate the captured Worldkiller, Purity. Furthermore, we are likely going to learn more about how the Worldkillers operate and why they have dual personalities. Judge for yourself in this sneak peek below:

In another new sneak peek, we are treated to a conversation between Lena and Sam. We learn about how they first met and it adds a little history to the Sam/Lena story. In the end, Lena insists that Sam take some time off. Check it out below:

We'll add any new sneak peeks here and or inside looks to the episode if/when they become available. Let us know what you think of this sneak peek in the comments below and in the forum! Keep us your advertisement free source for Supergirl news and visit the support page!

Firestorm was more of a mind and body swap, I was thinking of a direct and complete power transfer into Alex. Like the Ultrawoman episode of Lois and Clark.

So Alex would have to pose as a superhero for a day and Kara would have to consider making the assertive strategic decisions that Alex would normally make.

You mean the way Firestorm was done on Legends of Tomorrow? That was brilliant and funny to fit with LOT's wit and humor. I think for that to somewhat happen...

1) Needs a season 4
2) The mood should change from drear to delight.

I like that dynamic too. However I would love the see a future episode where they get to really see what its like in each other's shoes. One where somehow Kara's powers temporarily transfer to Alex. So Alex would have to pose as a superhero for a day and Kara would have to consider making the assertive strategic decisions that Alex would normally make.

That would be fun to see. I’m sure there’s a color of Kryptonite that could temporarily transfer a Kryptonians powers to a human who happens to be near them at the time of exposure. If doesn’t already exist then she show can make a new color. So far we’ve only seen three colors besides green; Blue in Bizarro, Red in Falling, and Silver in Nevertheless She Persisted. For a show about a Kryptonian the writers have thankfully stayed away from different colors of Kryptonite but IMO one new color per season isn’t overkill.

This is the dynamic between the two sisters, as agent and superhero, that I have been missing. The bouncing of different ideas and viewpoints off of each other. Kara, always able to rely on Alex to not just be a yes man and to be a straight shooter and then Alex, able to rely on Kara to help her stay grounded and keep an open mind when it comes to tactics. And besides soft-hearted Kara, I also love skeptical, sarcastic, capable DEO agent Alex.

Looks good! Should be an interesting and entertaining episode. Let's hope it picks things up a notch from the previous two weeks so-so offerings. 8)

They said there's going to be divide among the team over what to do with the Worldkillers and it starts with Supergirl and Alex. I hope it will extend to the other members of the team as well.

I hope this episode lives up to the previews that they have been showing because they have me pumped for it.

I love any episode where SuperGirl and Alex are the main focus (like it when J'onn is in there too). This looks like its going to be a very good episode, I'm just sorry that we won't see another new one until April. I hope this doesn't happen again next year.

Quoting SuperMatt:
Interesting philosophy Alex has. Especially since she was the one who stepped up to try to help Sam the other episode. I really wonder if Sam will keep that line of thinking after the Reign reveal.
Really excited as this is the last episode before the break.

Because Alex does not know Reign and Sam are one and the same. In the case of Julia/Purity...in a way she does know. One would think Kara would have the upper hand as the Worldkillers are from Krypton, but have invaded Earth, in particular National City, USA.

And I now know where the title Both Sides Now comes from...at least from this scene.
