The flood gates have opened! Casting news is coming out at a breakneck speed, a couple of new trailers have launched and now we are getting our first look at episode 1 in the form of 17 new images! The images give us a great first look at Nicole Maines' Nia Nal, Rhona Mitra's Mercy Graves and Robert Baker's Otis Graves. In addition, we get to see James and Lena working their corporate look and some very stunning images of Supergirl looking heroic. The last photo is pretty interesting too and the only photo of J'onn. He seems to be consoling or getting information from an alien. From what we are hearing, episode one is going to be game changing!

I'm not sure how a sound (sonic wave) generator could be "laced with kryptonite". Unless the kryptonite was just used to weaken Kara, to make her susceptible to blasts of high-intensity sound waves.
I am not suggesting the sonicwave generator be laced with kryptonite, What I want to see is they use that to somewhat disable her, and then chloroform her out. My question was, is she affected by chloroform? Maybe if its laced with kryptonite?
I would use the two scenes I have talked about and do something like this...
The villains plan to get Supergirl where they will use the sound device to debilitate her. While the guy holds the device on her, Supergirl cannot focus to stop him. The girl then comes over and battles her with chloroform, and eventually between the sonic device, and the chlororform (with or without kryptonite) Supergirl is knocked out cold. We see the villains carry her to a car, where they then take her to an airport where they have a private plane ready. They carry SG on to the plane, place the kryptonite necklace on her, and of course even though she is out cold, we see the kryptonite is hurting her through the green graphics that look like it is in her veins or something. They take her up in the air, and drop her out of the plane in their minds to her death. Of course something would have to happen to save her, like maybe the DEO figures it out in time to alert Jean, who save her? Now you have a villain team that has already proven they are capable of defeating Supergirl that she will have to deal with all season.

Maybe if the sound waves were intense enough, then kryptonite isn't even necessary. Remember, Max Lord was able to knock Kara out cold with nothing more sophisticated than an unusually large high-explosive bomb in Season 1.
It seems that the TV version of Supergirl is more "damage resistant" than totally invulnerable (like the Silver Age Kara was).
Also, in the preview where Supergirl is being kryptonite poisoned as she falls from the sky, looks like there is a necklace or something that is keeping the kryptonite on her. So she is KO'd and falling helplessly from the sky. I wonder how she gets out of that. It will be interesting to see.
Can't wait for season 4!!
Well, I think one way they can do that by having more new characters with different backgrounds and abilities (like Nia) join the CatCo organization. And then some of them can eventually also join the Supergirl Team. Every time someone new joins the already-established crew, it naturally shakes things up.
Suit should just come with earplugs from now on
