Supergirl is nearly here and we couldn't be more excited. Before we jump into the brand new gallery for the second episode of the final season, we should have a quick expectations chat. First and foremost, as if anyone could forget, Covid-19 has done a number on television production. Superman and Lois is experiencing a huge hiatus from one such event. So, be prepared when the show feels a little disjointed. Old storylines from last season need to be wrapped up. Second, we know a lot of us here aren't pleased that Supergirl isn't always front and center. That said, we really need to take that with a grain of salt. Independent of the pandemic, Melissa had a baby. There needs to be time for maternity leave and such. Whether that was planned before or during Covid-19 restrictions isn't known but I think we need to forgive some of this amid all that is going on.
So let's rip the bandaid off. We have nine new images from Supergirl's second episode and not one features Kara. That doesn't necessarily mean she isn't in the episode, just not pictured. It's strange but we think this will be explained (we can't say more than that). It does look like an action-packed episode and there is already one image that is speaking volumes about a certain bald character on the show. Check out the images below:

Oliver did use eye makeup. I hated that too! He looked like Oliver Queen with a couple of splotches on his eyes.
It's a bold look. I get a real Ziggy Stardust feel from Alex.
It's possible she will be navigating through the PZ. Melissa indicated she had some catch up to do when she returned from maternity leave and will be in the early episodes... I am thinking they may have filmed inserts that feature her elsewhere, like the Phantom Zone, apart from the rest of the cast to insert in episodes filmed without her. I am thinking that is likely how Jason Behr's Kryptonian character comes into play, potentially trapped in the PZ with her.. But, this is just my over-acting imagination coming up with a possible theory.
I forgot all about Alex's new threads! Looks good, but I'm still not a fan of the eye make up.
I suppose it could be Claude Knowlton. The pictures are kinda dark.
Guessing that this is one of our two new mystery recurring characters for this season.
