Today has been an incredible day! We are still on cloud nine from our day at Paleyfest and we want to share it with you. Like last year, we will take some time to recount our day and all that happened but for now, we want to share the most important parts, the interviews with the cast and show runners! Hear what Melissa Benoist, Grant Gustin, David Harewood, Brandon Routh, and Executive Producer Todd Helbing, had to say right below!
What do you guys think of interviews? Did we do a good job? What did you think of what the cast and crew had to say? Let us know in the comments below and in the forum! Also, keep us the number one source for Supergirl news anywhere, and keep advertisements off our site and visit the support page!

I don't think it has to be David doing the stunt work, it just needs to be "better" stunt work. Work on the suit, make it more flexible so that MM doesn't look so slow and lumbering...
A part of making MM more powerful is going to have to be David doing more stunt work. I remember in an interview he said something about leaving the stunt work to the younger people. That's understandable and he shouldn't have to do anything he's not comfortable with. However the fact is action scenes look better when when the actor does enough to make the transitions with the stunt double seamless. Part of what has improved Supergirl's and especially Alex's stunts is Melissa and Chyler doing more. David's in shape and I'll bet if he makes a commitment to more action the budget for MM stunts will go up.
I know I'm gong to get flak for being snarky and picky here, but we now know that David - despite being a Brit and very likely accustomed to a lot of rain - isn't a fan of Vancouver's near-monsoon type downpours. Fair enough. Chin up, mate! Not every filming locale is perpetually sunny. That's why Mexico, the Caribbean and the Canary Islands are where they are - to give Northerners a respite from old man winter.
And Melissa, bless her, despite being raised in Colorado, was unaware that Vancouver actually got snow (and this year, LOTS!) and was prone to bone-chilling cold snaps. Fyi and to state the glaringly obvious, British Columbia is closer to Alaska than California. Geography says so.
To be fair to the SG cast, give 'em two more season in Vancouver and the rain and snow will become second nature. It'll toughen 'em up a bit. And, truth be told, it is infinitely preferable to film outdoors in Vancouver than in Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal or Halifax in mid-February. I'd say it's a fair trade-off. The production moved from sunny Southern California for a variety of reasons. If they disagree with, dislike or are second-guessing the reasoning, kindly take the issues up with the brass.
With no disrespect or ill-intent meant to the actors and to lightly paraphrase a New York expression, "Youse awl bein' sawft again!"
Keep up the good work.
